Chore Girl Apron pattern?
I'm trying to make the Chore Girl Apron and I'm stuck on the 1st step! It says to sew the tie and turn it and then "Trim 1/4" wedge off the ends" what does this mean?

I fold the tie in half lengthwise and then sew the end together like an L. Then open it up and there should be a "triangle" for the end. I'm not explaining this very well. They show how to make the triangle on the 10 minute table runner. Same principle as the end of the apron tie.

I believe the idea of folding right sides together then sewing an L seam across the end is probably right. I have an apron pattern that has that kind of ties. It is used on dresses for little girls too. It makes a much neater and firmer end. You have to finish the long sides before this step.
