Default The things we do for our fur babies

Just thought you might like to see one of my ongoing - nonquilting projects. The picture is of my furry son, Hercules' stuffed octupus - which he carries around like Linus with his blanket. He claimed it when he was a kitten and it is so funny to hear a muffled meow when he's carrying it in his mouth. Enjoy. I will never be able to replace it - so have to keep adding scraps and stuffing and sewing it together when he rips the head off. LOL

That is so funny. I'm sure he wouldn't even what a new one either, it just wouldn't be the same.

I know exactly what you are doing....my Dodger has a special kitty that has no eyes, tail, nose or ears and has been sewed numerous times. LOL. The octopus is adorable, just because it is so special to your kitty. Thanks for sharing a special part of your life.

The next time you have a sock lose it's mate, it would make a good replacement cover for the "head"? I assume that used to be the head it's kind of hard to tell.

My DD has two kitties with strange toys. The male likes a certain string. Carries it everywhere, even to the food dish. Last week the cleaning lady threw the string away. DD went to three stores trying to find the exact string replacement.

my little min-pin Clem has a purply pink dinosaur that is got more stitches than a queen size quilt and way more new stuffing than a truck load of pillows.and when ever I tell him we're doing a road trip to see Grampa (my Dad in Missouri) he packs Dino and his favorite quilt in his crate and waits impatiently for me to put them in the car.I'm having a hard time convincing every one that I DO NOT SPOIL CLEM--

That is great...we have catnip mice all over the house here. Peach nearly always has one or two in his mouth!

I bought a new bathrobe and gave Chip my old one....when we first brought him home, I would get up in the morning, take him out, and then sit on the sofa, drink my coffee and he would cuddle with me and go to sleep sucking on the sleeve of that red robe. It's become his security "blankie"...
