Be home by "dark thirty", meaning thirty minutes after dark.

Feel like I been rode hard and put up wet. ( horse people will understand that one)

Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

A rut is just a grave with the ends kicked out.

And my very favorite, when my dad was really sick, he would say, "I have know people who felt worse than I do, but they are in the graveyard."

I have two - one my dad used to say when someone was mad - You've got the same clothes to get glad in.

Another one - "A stitch in time saves nine - don't know what it has to do with this situation - but - it's a good saying just the same" (he always thought this was so funny - I find myself saying it when something happens that would be easy to make a big deal about but shouldn't.

Have a great day - blessings,
Scherrie

1.Don't let your aligator eyes overload your hummingbird your stomach.
2. Any thing worth doing is worth doing right.
3.To every man there openeth a way, of ways, and away. The high soul gropes the high way, the low soul gropes the low, and on misty flats the rest stroll to and fro, but to every man there openeth a high way and a low, and every man must decideth the way his soul shall go.
