I have 7 quilt labels to do and finish up some grocery bags. I also (if I have time) need to go get some batting and quilt a quilt for a friend.

What's on your list for this weekend?

I'm putting borders around 2 quilt labels, so they're ready to sew on when my DD gets a chance. She doesn't like hand sewing through the Printed Treasures fabric we make our labels from. RA prevents me from handsewing.

Then I plan to work on the applique Santa place mat for my great niece.

American Legion has their monthly fish fry tonight so DD and I are going to that. GS's Boy Scout troop helps so she has to pick him up anyway.

BTW We've already been in the yard chain-sawing branches from an small tree that were getting too close to the fence.

Lunch date with DH, then fabric store with BF, and maybe some sewing afterwards.
Tomorrow, sewing with BF while DH watches football... we're making pajama pants and hooded scarves.
Monday (long weekend), sewing with BF. If we finish above projects I need to baste and quilt a baby blanket for Christmas, continue BOM project, clean up the sewing room and organize new purchases, or make a grocery bag.

Hand sewing the binding to the back of a lap quilt. I thought about machine sewing a fancy stitch but I did bias binding and rounded the quilt corners. The binding is turning to the back nicely but I would have to hand sew the corners anyway to ease the curve binding so I might as well stitch it all by hand.

I have been working on fall table runners so will continue with that, also am finishing a November doll quilt for the swap. I started last night going through my scraps. Wow, what an undertaking but am making progress and it makes me feel so much more organized. Anything the size of a fat quarter or larger I fold and put on a shelf so I can see at a glance what I have, grouped by color. Anything smaller goes into its own clear shoebox. I have three more buckets of scraps to go through and will be finished. Whew, what a job. We are going out to a friends house tonight but I don't want to stop, am on a roll.

I went to Joanns to buy a few picture frames so I can frame some counted cross stitch things I did. I also bought a half yard of 10 different cotton plaid fabrics. I wanted them for my stash. Only a few of them were pretty but even the ones that were not I still got some.

First I must finish Uploading to the Moodle for a college class. The class itself is very interesting but the computer stuff is not! The instructor tries very hard not to say "old" but rather (there are several of us) 'those of you in the more experienced category"! Anyway I have completed the 20 quizzes, done 7 of the 13 papers and then have to take the final next week. After that I can enjoy Thanksgiving with my loved ones. Then I must finish sewing several costumes for our community theater. Then come two quilted wall hangings for Christmas that must be done early. Throw in singing tonight and tomorrow at a Veterans Salute, church bazaar after services, storm coming tonight so must get outdoor stuff ready, packing to leave for trip on Monday, laundry, clean out fridge, vacuuming, dusting, etc. etc.
