Yes, my DD lives in Oregon. Because of work and unforseen reasons, she did not make it for the holidays. Blessed be, she came to visit last weekend for 3 days! I was so happy because the last time I saw her was last October.
Have a wonderful time with your DD and family.

I told my two dds that they couldn't move out of the county! I grew up far away from my grandparents. My mom lives 1 mile from us and I like it that way!

When her and her DH got transfered back to Oklahoma I couldnt wait for them to get here. Thought the day would never come... Missed my daughter and grandkids something terrible.
That has been 14 yrs ago now.. I love having my kids close to me...

My DD#1, her DH, & DGS live 2,000 miles away in MD while DS lives about the same distance away in VA. Miss them all so much. Never miss an opportunity to let them know how good the weather is here when it is horrible there. Just a little nudge to suggest they might want to move to the southwest.

Two of my three children and my beautiful grandsons live in Virginia while we live in California. They both went to the same University in Southern Virginia. My daughter married a local and has the 2 boys. When my son finished up at the University they asked him to stay and work in the I.T dept.
I have one son and dear daughter in law that live 5 miles from us. My children are triplets and share a unique bond with each other. The 2 in Virginia are very close to each other. I miss them more then words can describe. We use Skype a lot. I love when they come to visit.
