Am going to visit my grandson, a cub scout who is excited to become an eagle, which i am. Where can I put the pins on sash, above each patch for each rank? have been reading on line. also, where can I sew patch for eagle on sash? Above my rank patches I have already had all my rank patches sewn on, since 1956. I am an eagle from Dearborn, Michigan, troop D3. A really rewarding experience in my life.
Please help!! Tom Harvey Phone number removed for security reasons please PM

Please respond at least to the eagle patch, where did we sew the eagle patch on the sash. All my rank patches are still on the sash, and all the merit badges are on the other side. however, above all the rank patches is the Explorer patch. Do I put the eagle patch above the explorer patch? Regards
Tom Harvey

I would contact his scout master or look in his scout book for placement of pins and patches.

I hears somewhere that the Eagle badge should be closest to your heart. Or near the center not sure if there is a correct order.

Found it :D

http://www.bsatroop103.org/documents/Uniform_info.pdf

Here is what it says specifically about the Eagle Award:

“Eagle Award: Worn pinned centered just above the left breast uniform pocket flap seam. This
award is worn only on formal occasions.”
• “Eagle Palms: Worn pinned horizontally to the ribbon of the ribbon of the Eagle badge, 1/8 inch
apart.”
• Eagle Scout knot insignia is worn by adult leaders. Only the highest
palm earned is worn unless 20 additional merit badges were earned

Qbee you are absolutely correct in what you said. As former scoutmaster of our troop I was always trying to get the boys to wear the pins and patches c orrectly. They wanted to wear them all, some of them. Congrats Seplnharve on your grandson's accomplishment. Our son made Eagle and we are very proud of all he did to accomplish that.
