I finally went to a midnight showing of Harry Potter. My daughter and I are both big fans of this series. She has been to all of the midnight shows. Since this will be the last one, I kind of wanted to do it. My husband said I would be the oldest one there, and he was right. He babysat and my daughter and I went to the movie. It was wonderful. I actually stayed awake the whole time!

I didn't go, but my daughter and her husband will see it tonight. We are going to babysit. It is nice to still do fun things with our grown children. Good for you for deciding to go with your DD.

My husband and I will be going tonight with my daughter, her boyfriend and boyfriend's brother, and my daughter's best friend and her boyfriend. I pre-purchased the tickets online, so we are committed to 8:00.

Not sure I could handle a midnight showing at my age! My dd thought about it, but I was relieved when she decided on the evening showing instead. She is beyond the "dress up" age and wanted to avoid that crowd.

Our theaters were pretty much sold out for the midnight show so I got Fandango tickets for the 10:30 showing tonight. Hoping there won't be many little kids out at that time. Some of my coworkers went and really liked it.
