Default Why am I double clicking

Whenever I read a post and click the back arrow (top left), I seem to double click myself right back to my home page. Very annoying to put it mildly, it happens about 80% of the time. When it first happened ( about 2 wks. ago) I assumed my mouse was old so bought a new one. It is still happening. I feel I'm not clicking any differently than I was before, any ideas. My DH says I seem to always have issuses with this site. I feel that's only because this is the site I visit most often, it does sometimes happen on other sites.

Slowdown your cursor.
Start
Devices and printers
right click on mouse
mouse settings
buttons tab
scale in middle of window...move arrow to desired speed
may have to repeat until find right speed for you

I've had this happen periodically also. There was one period of time when it was so frequent it drove me crazy. Then as suddenly as it started, it stopped. It happened on this board and within my outlook mail system and sometimes when browsing online. I've never tried tracking the reason. Just glad it's pretty well gone.

^^^^ What Phyllis said. You can tell it how fast you want your double clicks to be.

I have also had this occur quite often recently. I switched to Firefox and that resolved my double clicking problem.

Me too, it was maddening when it first happened but then it went away and now it only happens once in a while.
