Why I quilt and don't bake

I messed up a strawberry cake once. It was in all kinds of pieces and I tossed marshmallows into it, mixed it all back up into the sheet pan and served. Don't remember if I heated it up a little again or not.
Everyone loved it so much they wanted me to make it again! I never could duplicate it.

I only make cakes in a 9x13" pan and ice it in the pan, cut and eat. Nothing sticks or falls apart. I've done this at least the last 40 years. Before that I tried the round cake pans, turned out okay, too much handling.

The thing with chocolate cake is - cut it into small squares, fold in whipped cream and add strawberries or go with caramel swirled in. could make it look scrumpdilitious.
