Just a few reasons below:

Johnny Depp - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - $18 million
Tom Hanks - DaVinci Code - $18 million
Mel Gibson - We Were Soldiers - $25 million
Robin Williams - Jumanji - $15 million
Will Smith - Men in Black II - $20 million
Kevin Costner - Dragonfly - $15 million
Harrision Ford - What Lies Beneath - $ 20 million

Are they really worth THAT much???

I don't go to the movies any more. Just too expensive! Rather just stay home!

You're right there. In the last few years there have been about 5 or 6 that I wanted to see. I actually went to two.

I haven't been to a movie theatre for years and don't have any intentions of ever going lol. I will wait for the dvd and rent it and watch it in the comfort of my own home. By that time I will know if it's a bommer or not.

No wonder the people in hollywood are idiots. Too much money and they think they are Gods most of the time....

We're supposed to go to the movies tomorrow night. To a double feature at the DRIVE-IN. Yes, I said Drive-In. For all you youngsters out there that don't know what that is, it's an open air movie theater. You sit in your car to watch the show. It's only $6.00 a person. We're going early, having a picnic, then watching the movies--Toy Story 3 and Marmaduke. Okay so it's not grown up stuff but most of the grown up stuff is too old for me. LOL I don't like sex, swearing, nakedness, etc. thrown at my eyeballs.

Most of the time we wait until they come out on DVD. This will be the first movie I've seen in years without being in a nightgown.

Haven't been in over 3yrs. Then went to a matinee $4.00.
I like to rent movies from the library.[FREE]
There are some that I'm glad I didn't pay to see. lol lol
It is another release for me like quilting. The stress we are under with our jobs and no jobs, ins. and no ins. and etc. I need to laugh and and stroke out.
