every commercial break has an insurance commercial in it I just counted three in the last break Now I know why our rates have gone up to pay for all these stupid commercials

My State Farm agent is my friendly helpful neighbor. He says people are really shopping around & switching insurance carriers. No more sticking with the company your parents sighed up with.

We have been with State Farm for years. We thought about switching a few years back, but according to SF, that is not a good idea. Something about switching companies could affect different things and if you didn't like the knew company, your old one didn't have to take you back. I wish I could remember exactly. Of course it may have just been the agent not wanting to lose a customer. And it worked, we are still with them and plan to stay. LOL!

Health insurance companies like Aetna and Humana are posting RECORD profits and have increased their dividends.

It part it depends on the stations you watch. The commercials are aimed at the audience.
Loved watching Nick Jr with my granddaughter - no commercials. Subject matter is another thing. ;)

we get our home and car insurance from a small local company.

No commercials.

Lowest rates around.

Think there is a connection? I do!!

I have to laugh when geico sends me a mailing saying I can save $500 on my car insurance - I say, what are you going to do, give it to me for free?
