Produced babies!! I've often wondered that myself. What did we do before all of this. I suppose that may be why they did quilting bees back then, there was nothing electronic to distract the ladies and so they would quilt together, share recipes, help each other out without hesitation...And they had to cook on open FIRES...every meal...could you imagine having to light a fire just to cook...NOT ME!!!!

My life was a lot better back in the days before all this electronic stuff. I use them because I would be left out if not but I was happier without it :)

Hahahaha, I've had to do that for the past 2 days, not to the extent of having to collect me own wood, however, but my electric ignition was out, of course, on my stove, had to use a lighter to light the stove. I a house where no one smokes and we don't use candles except at Christmas time...Wow, where are all the matches??? LOLOLOL The power being out was fun, the first day, the second...it wasn't fun any longer......Happy to say, after seeing all the damage caused by Irene just in my area, Baltimore Gas and Electric did a great job, prepared really well. Thanks BG&E.
