Miss Penny and I were the high bidder at $56 for the handsome Red Eye treadle machine made in 1910. Will pick her up later this week, bring her home and make a plan for restoring her to her near original beauty. She'll be used though, not just an ornament. My concern is that I am 6 feet 5 inches tall and 285 pounds. Hmmmm. riser blocks may be needed. Oh well! Another project on the list! Wish us luck please. Don

YAY!! You'd be surprised Don, at how much space is there for your legs...my spousal unit is 6'3" and 280...has no problems using my treadles!
Congrats! :)

I wish there was a way to send you one without it costing an arm and a leg...I'd share one of mine with you!

Lol...Our Red Eye is in our bedroom. Dh just loves the ornate decals on it. So we thought we would put her there to share in her beauty! Congrats! You'll love sewing with her.
