Every year one of the local companies sponsors free "public appreciation" concerts at the local county fair...this year we get FOUR!
Weds nite: Neil McCoy
Thurs: Joe Diffy
Friday: STYX!!!!!!!!!!!
Sat: Weird Al...
It should be a fun four nights!

Oh, that should be so much fun! Neil puts on some awesome shows. Took hubby once and he had a ball. He saw Weird Al years and years back and still talks about it.
We saw Styx (just before Dennis DeYoung left) and what a voice. Recordings just don't do it justice.
I hope you get to go all four nights and tell us about all the details.

All 4 nites thats great! You'll have Fun!! I saw Styx play 30 years ago (I was 16 just a baby! lol) I had a blast. Still talk about it with dh. Hubby told me(he travels alot) the hotel he was at recently is having a concert in August. Styx and Journey are playing! I said YES! by the way did I mention the concert is in Las Vegas!!!! Happy Birthday to Me!!

OMG, I've seen STYX in concert too, AMAZING! One of my favorite bands, Dennis DeYoung has an incredible voice, 'show me the way' a capella gives me shivers! I have not seen Gowan in concert though.
Susie0808, OH...MY...GOD, with Journey? I think I would die if I got to see that! Steve Perry is absolutely irreplacable, but their new lead, Arnel Pineda is pretty darn good!
Haha, these bands have been around way longer than I've been alive, yet they are my favorites, lol. I dont' really listen to the garbage that my generation listens to...
