Ok, for those of you who are wondering WHEN we are leaving this pebble....well it looks like sometime mid to end of April.
Hubby has a school he has to fly away to, then will come back and by then I should have everything packed up and we should be in a hotel by then.
With the way they work it, they give us 10 days travel and 8 days "proceed". Total of 18 days to get to where we are going. Yes, flying time counts! He has a school he has to report to on May 24th. So, backing that up, puts us the beginning of May. Hubby is wanting to add a couple of weeks leave time to that so we are quite as rushed in our travels since we will be sending the van into Los Angeles, picking it up, then driving cross country to VIRGINIA!!!
I already told hubby that there ARE stops, even if it's just lunch or dinner or a cup of coffee that I have to make. Plus, he wants to see his parents (ugh!) but also I want to spend at least another week with MY babies!!
So, everyone keep EVERYTHING crossed that this stays this way, we get what we want and I'll soon be off this pebble forever!

You and anyone are more than welcome to come visit anytime/anywhere I live. I will always have a place for people to stay. Might have to put a lock on my door so my stash doesn't grow legs and disappear lol

I am just sooo excited, but want to try to keep it at bay because when I do get excited, there is usually a pin right around the corner waiting to burst my bubble.

Terri I'm soooo pleased for you and will keep everything crossed that they'll be no pins to burst any bubbles! Virginia? Is that West Virginia (sorry my US geography sucks!) like in the song 'Almost heaven, West Virginia, Blue Ridge Mountains..' etc Would be appropriate if it were - take me home, country roads! :D

LOL
No, not West "by God" Virginia.
This is VIRGINIA...right underneath Washington, DC and above South Carolina. Right on the coast, 1/2 way down.

lol
No, well, yes.
Virginia is EAST coast.
West Virginia is just to the west of Virginia, still close to east coast.
Are you confused yet?

Here's a map for ya

Hah! I'm easily confused! Thanks for the map - i think I was confusing West Virginia with Washington State and DC because one of them is east coast and one west? Does that make ANY sense at all?
