Which would you prefer?

When purchasing a fabric that is a remnant,

would you prefer to have it neatened up so that it is exactly the measurements in the ad

or

Would you prefer to have any "extra" left on (I'm talking about neat edges, not scraggly)

The extra of course!!!

Though I do expect the measurements to be somewhat correct. Translation ... I recently bought a few pieces at the thrift store and came home to discover that one the measurement was the full length, but no considerations to the huge chunk taken out. And another, there had been a piece taken off the full length. Oh well ... while a disappointment, I still scored on the $ side.
