Default Bongo, isn't he just so handsome?!?!?!!!!!

Bongo has been with us for about a week now. He is fitting right in. The girls have seem to come to sort of an agreement regarding him. They used to hid on the side of the house where the patio is. Now they are hiding in the backyard, because he hasn't discovered it yet.

And he is such a chow hound. He loves it when it time for him to eat.
Being a toddler he has to eat several times a day and he just gets so excited when his food dish gets filled. He has even gone as far as scratching the barrel we keep the dog food in when he is hungry...lol

The first night we put him in the shop, he howled half the night. So the next day we made him a big wooden box to sleep in. We put one of my husband's t-shirts he wore that day on the cushion he sleeps on and a clock. And moved him to the garage where my truck is parked. He seems to like this setup, he only howls for about 10 minutes.

His first vet visit is Friday. The first round of shots and exam.
On a side note here.......Puppy breath makes a great wake up call.......LOL

The neighbors are starting to talk to us again.....LOL

his coloring & markings are beautiful! if he grows into the size of his head, i would think he is gonna be a very big puppy soon! then the girls willreallyneed to hide! ds recently got a neuf mix puppy, looks very similar in color and markings to bong. i like dogs...not a fan of the puppy stage tho...have fun!

Saturday we are going to the viewing at the dig pound. There is a Whippet mix that we are interested in. His name is Kramer, mostly black and is 3 years old anafraid of thunder. Lets hope all goes well and he can come home with us. Hugs with doggie kisses to come.
