Having been a member of the Board, I know most of us will be willing to admit that we collect most things related to quilting (fabric, patterns, machines, etc.). Having seen a member's collection of dolls behind a quilt she was displaying, I'm curious how many & what other things you might collect. Besides, all-things-sewing, I collect dolls, buttons, books (needlework and not), old tools, and funny stories.
How about you?

Carousel animal figures. It all started with a full sized wooden carousel horse I received from my husband one Christmas. I also collect whimsical ceramic animal banks. I started with a couple of piggy banks & grew from there.

Nutcrackers. I think there's about 52 of them around here, from tiny salt and pepper ones about 2 inches high, to George, a fellow about my own height and weighs more than I do, made of solid wood. Lately I've been giving some of the smaller ones to children, since it finally sank in that I don't really want any more.

And then there's my books, some authors I reread often over the years. No cable, but still have the TV and video/CD player with masses of movies we've taped and bought, I watch maybe one every couple of months!! A bookcase full of these...

Fabric, just cleared out the wall to wall, floor to ceiling book case in my bedroom and replaced the donated books with fabric. Really pretty with all the lovely colors all along the side of the room.

Lets see, Dolls, Carousel horses, fairies, and last but certainly not least, I have lots of Elvis stuff!

I have started to pass on most of my fairies to my granddaughters. I have some very old dolls, and I even have my favorite doll as a child still. I have a large curio cabinet that the dolls are in. Elvis surround my computer room. Since it is also the spare bedroom, anyone visiting has to like him too !

I collect salt and pepper shakers. I like all and any shakers. I also collect souvineer spoons. I don't mind having duplicates either of the spoons nor the salt and pepper shakers although, on the shakers I don't have any duplicate ones.
Oh and I collect DUST BUNNIES. Yep gotta have them you know. LOL

Breyer horses. I still have the very first one that a school friend gave to me. I've had that little foal for over 35 years, and my herd has of course grown! I have a custom made barn for them-much larger than the Breyer one.
Oh-and parti-color cocker spaniel items too!
