Your secret is safe with the thousands of Quilting Board readers. LOL. That is exciting and you could start on a generic quilt and like someone else mentioned, when you know the gender, you can make it either gender specific or gender neutral. Congratulations, Auntie.

Maybe you will jinx them with TWINS 1 niece and 1 nephew. LOL!

when ly first dgd was expected i went to wal-mart and told perfect strangers, lol. i hadn't started quilting, or i would have announced it here. congratulations, and i wish you all the very, very best!

Farm Quilter, that fabric is a good reason to make a baby quilt. You know you will find someone to give it to.

BTW, most of my baby quilts are gender neutral. For example, a giant pinwheel made with brightly colored turtle fabric.

Congratulations on becoming an auntie again. It's never to soon to get started on a quilt for the little one. Just make a cute pattern that could be used by eiher sex.
