Your secret is safe with the thousands of Quilting Board readers. LOL. That is exciting and you could start on a generic quilt and like someone else mentioned, when you know the gender, you can make it either gender specific or gender neutral. Congratulations, Auntie.

Farm Quilter, that fabric is a good reason to make a baby quilt. You know you will find someone to give it to.
BTW, most of my baby quilts are gender neutral. For example, a giant pinwheel made with brightly colored turtle fabric.
