I've got one - a board one...
...it's when somebody starts a topic asking for help, or making a comment, or whatever, and then they NEVER make another post on that thread.

Two hundred (exaggeration) people reply with helpful hints, ideas, links, etc etc but the person who started the thread has disappeared.

Don't you think that's kind of odd? I mean, if they gleaned the one hint they needed or got the world's best idea shouldn't they at least say thank you? I don't expect anyone to post a thank you or comment after every single "good job" or hint, but geez, at least acknowledge all the remarks at least once...
Off my soapbox now - feel free to rant along or against me

I know I feel the same way, they should bookmark that thread and follow up with it, and at least say thank you!

I discovered that if I just "watch" a topic, after I select it once then it disappears off my watching list. BUT when I bookmark something, I can make it a point to go back and check and check :-)

Thanking someone is just a common courtsey that unfortunately most people take for granted :-(

You can also click on your own profile (top of page/"my profile")
Then it will show "Number of topics created" - which you can click on that highlighted number and they will be listed, you can then click on the topic of interest and read through the topic, answer it or whatever..
Or, you can click on the "Number of messages posted" number and do the same thing.
That way you can ALWAYS find any messages you have posted.
No excuses like, "I couldn't find the message/topic"

I agree completely. I also don't like it when people ask for things and all the generous people here respond by sending things and then they never show up again.
