I wish you could have them as pets! I guess there is nothing stopping you if you really wanted to. We used to find hedgehogs occasionally in the garden when I was little. They were always riddled with fleas, and as soon as you approached them would roll up into an impenetrable ball! They are cute though. But they are classed as wildlife rather than pets, here in the UK anyway!

They are still cute. Afraid my dogs would think of them as toys....like they did with the porcupine!! ouch.... 76 quills in one dog only 15 in the other one. :cry:

That little guy is darling!!! I've seen a few around here as pets, but don't know how they turn out. I kinda thought it was probably similar to keeping gerbils and hamsters.. That is the cutest face on that little guy though!

They are just darling, I don't think we have
hedgehogs here in the US. He is a sweetie!
