Has anyone tried any classes? They are offering classes and they cost $7.00 a class but you have to take seven. It's called Zuma Gold so it is for seniors. I walk miles a day but I need to get more exercise to burn off some of the weight I put on last winter and didn't lose this summer and thought I'd give them a try. Anyone use the tapes? Are they as good as going to the classes?

My daughter loves it and in fact teaches it. Several of my friends like it too. I can't dance and very self-concious moving to music so don't do anything like that. I prefer the walking and swimming laps.

My daughter-in-law took Zumba classes for a while. Due to my son being out of town for work the last few months she has not been able to go, but she enjoyed it very much.

I love Zumba! Have the DVDs, and they're great. Since I've started that and following WW I've lost 58 pounds.

Zumba is fun! I was doing it 2x week, but the instructor had to take a break for surgery. I do miss it.

Hint: you need shoes that don't have too much traction, so that you can change directions easily and not injure yourself.

Have fun!

One of my nieces is a Zumba instructor. I only WISH that I was in the shape she was! I can't even do the Hustle anymore!

I go to regular Zumba 3 times a week at $5/time which is the going rate in my area. I absolutely LOVE Zumba! I have a Zumba for the Wii and I never use it as I get more out of actually going. I have heard that Zumba Gold is less hard on knees and feet. I think you should give it a try...at least for the 7 classes you would need to commit to. I think you will find you enjoy it.
