Hi! My name is Beth (aka soccertxi). I have been piecing since the early 80s, but only quilting larger things for about 6 or 7 yrs. I just recently upgraded from a table top frame to a used Gammill Classic Plus. If I could JUST get organized, I would play in the long arm room everday...ALL day! OH, the Gammill is named "Lucy". I named her when we made friends. (think 'righty tighty, lefty loosey'...I had LOTS of tension problems when I 1st got her!)

I just read your story on righty tightie and love it. My first Gammill was a nightmare for me because of the tension. Now I have a Statler Sticher and no longer have the tension problems. I'm glad you got yours to work out. Rose
