Another Newbie from Michigan

Hello Everyone, I am from Clarkston Mi. Love to quilt and have become rather addicted. thinking of a new sewing machine. Looking at the Janome 8900 or a Used Bernina 820 QS. I have a Janome that I have used for years and it needs to be upgraded. Any opinions? I like the idea of the dual feed on the Bernina and some of the quilt stitches.
I love modern quilts and just about everything else as well.

Hi and welcome to the board, Dew. I'm sorry I can't help you with the machine selection. I have a Janome 4800 QC (which is now retired - like me) and it has all the functionality I need.
