Just join a month ago my self been quilting for just a few yrs. amazed at what I remember from watching my grandmother as a little girl. And the help from on here.

Another SHO-ME state welcome (Missouri). If you were a garment sewer than you already know how to read and follow directions. A 1/4 seam allowance is the hardest thing to get used to. Just start out with an easy pattern for your first quilt - make it small and easy. My first quilt is still unfinished in a closet for the past 40+ years. Guess I should take it out of the closet and take a picture of it for everybody to see what not to do. LOL
