oohhhh...so lovely...I dream of one day having my own quilt shop!
Some mornings I pause at my back door before leaving for work, dressed in my office clothes, brief case in hand and wonder what goverment offical I will have to deal with today and what business I will try to help keep open for another year, if the committee that has been selected for our next event will come through and mentally glance at my desk that has piles of paperwork on it......I then give a big sigh wishing I could just throw all that out the door and hide in my sewing room all day. There's nothing like being creative with your hands. Just touching fabric brings a calm but excited feeling all over oneself. Maybe one of these days!

Pictures of the quilts hanging in the Library the day after the show

It was up at about 10 feet so i couldn't get alot of detail but you should have seen those points! They were perfect!

I thought this was interesting. Really thinking outside the box!

Hanging in the children's library behind their computers. This was another example of perfection!

The most beautiful quilt i saw there! Up close it had tule for subtle shading, just a few beads and an amazing amount of fabric colors.

Up close of the bushes, looked like burning bush to me!

This was striking and very eye catching. Very subtle shades of red, you had to get right up there to see the differences. Such a cool "fringe" too!

Red on red on red! Lots of details.

Tried to catch the detail. Red on red was striking but tough to get the subtleties. Alot of work went into this one tho!

I loved the way they finished this off. Think i'm gonna do something similar for my peacock quilt that i'm entering next year!
