Welcome back from central Florida. Billie Lauder is on www.youtube.com with quick quilting tricks with a really quick and easy way to make flying geese. Good luck.

Default One piece flying geese

This is a good way to do the flying geese in one piec.

My interest in quilting remains and over the last fortnight I have made two quilt tops (well almost) and I would like you to direct me to the correct place within your forum framework where I can ask advice about a few problems I am having.

One of the tops is simply 6" squares pieced awaiting borders - procrastinating as to colour selection. The other is an attempt at flying geese which I'm having a few problems with.

They are for two of my grandchildren - important to me, but I see them as a good way to develop technique.

Please direct me to the correct sub forum where I can post images and questions.

All the best, good to be back - Mal

Another great method to make Flying Geese - I used the method illustrated by Eleanor Burns which seems to use a little of Billie's and a little of Ricky's.

Thanks again to everyone for your kind welcome back.

So much to learn...
