Cassuviel says hello
Hello to all of you!
I am Cassuviel from the SW of Germany, 61 years old and an absolute quilting noob.
Three years ago I startet to do some patchwork, bought some books and some jelly rolls, and my wonderful husband bought me a wonderful sewing machine. I startet with some easy blocks and made two bigger tops that still are not quiltet.
I became very ill and couln't sew or do anything like that until this summer. Now I am well again and will start a new attempt on patchwork and quilting. I made some strippy potholders to become friend with the sewing machine again, and it felt good!
Apart from quilting I like knitting and cross stich embroidering, I love music and literature, and good movies. We have two dogs and a very big garden so there's no time for being idle.
Please feel free to ask me whatever you would like to know. I am not accustumed to forums and things alike. And at this very moment I find it difficult to express myself in English, although I love that language so much. I surely have to practise.
Hoping that I might ask you for advice or help from time to time, I send my kindest regards.

Welcome and thanks for joining us. If you have questions, this is the place for answers. If there are more than one answer per question, I'm sure you'll get all of them to choose from....and as Misty's Mom said, your English is great.
