daffodil quilt pattern??

Hello,
A teacher friend is retiring after 35 years in education. She loves daffodils, plants 100's of them in her yard. I thought a daffodil quilt would be the perfect retirement gift . I would like to do something with paper-pieced daffodils perhaps. Any suggestions or thoughts??

If you click on the search feature above you can type in key words like "daffodil pattern" etc. and it will pull up any past threads about it. I use the search feature all the time.
