My Great Aunt, (passed away at 100+ years), supported herself and family on bridal alterations...She eventually was flown all over the world to design and direct others to make clothes for entire wedding parties....She sure did have a wonderful stash of exotic fabrics...

thank you for the welcome-love this board-a while back i gave bags of satin and lace and a huge tub of beads and more to the lqs (plus a tub of fab samples from an interior dec friend) for them to do crazy quilt kits.
