Ok, more details...on two different occasions, doing two different tasks, the bobbin casing popped out of its housing and I ended up sewing into it, making it unusable..had to order two new bobbin casings - have sewed for 45 years, have never had this happen....also my tension changes as I sew along on a quilt and stitches are skipping. very annoying, especially when you are quilting a wedding quilt for a gift and have to keep cutting the threads and unsewing. Also, all of a sudden the foot is popping off...the red release button in the back is somehow loose, unable to be tightened...very frustrating - along with the recall...(I had a recalled machine)
Thanx so much for you replies in advance -I am the elna 740 from yesterday,
