Hello from Alabama. I've been reading the board for awhile, decided to jump in and introduce myself. Quilting and embroidery are my passions. Since my embroidery machine died before Christmas, quilting is all I do in my spare time. I've been quilting off and on for over 30 years, but still consider myself a novice. I'm self taught as No One in my family quilts, or even sews for that matter. Mine is a ready to wear family. LOL
Hope to have a lot of fun here.

Does your family think your insane like mine. LOL They just don't understand the reasoning behind quilting. "Why are you cutting it up if your going to just sew it back together" If I've heard it once I've heard it a million times.
Or this one "Easier to go buy it"
LOL

Welcome from Seattle, WA, where it's very, very wet, but temperatures are above normal. Unfortunately, that means lots of snow melt and danger of flooding. Oh, well, Mother Nature will have her way.
