i am a 58 year old beginner(2-10-54). i live in council bluffs iowa. right across the missouri river from omaha ,neb. i am married for 30 years on 4-29 , to the same man, lol. we have no children, but have 3 chihuahuas. just got #3 on new years day. he is now 10 weeks old. D'artanyan Hoyt. the others are named Queen Kassiopia and King Kodiak. respectively tannie, kassie and kodie. kassie and kodie are sis and bro. they are our children. my husband and i use to upholster furniture until injuries sidelined us both. we do some recover on the side, but not physically able to be employed. he likes to garden and have a nice yard as well as i do. i enjoy the creative aspect of quilting. i have several tops done, but i am learning how to finish them. its all greek to me, my dear friend twinkie, whom i met playing scrabble, gave me this website as a gift to help me learn. she is a gift by herself. i only hope ,with her help and yours, that i can become comp. savvy enough to use the website to my advantage. i am making a baby quilt right now. havent started to sew on it yet, since i can't get to my machine yet, but i will. we had to pack up and be ready to run from the flooding missouri river last year. it was close. so that is just a little bit about me . can't wait to get this started. gibbette
