I have found a quilt that was started by my Mom and older sister in the 1930's. I have the butterflies that they blanket stitched to muslin and I have extra butterflies that would have been cut out of my mom's old dresses, aprons or my dad's shirts. I am wanting to finish this quilt. I do not have a clue how to do it but I will learn. It looks like fun and I do sew so it can't be too hard to learn how to make this quilt work. I am originally from the New England area, Massachusetts to be exact and have been transplanted to Ohio. There are many quilters out here so I am looking forward to finding some help from a quilters group in my area. :-D

Glad you joined us! We are a bunch of quilters who love to encourage each other, and we love to see pictures of what each of us has made. Welcome from North Alabama!

Waving to now, one buckeye to another. Have a friend that lives in Cheshire, Mass. I love it there.

Hello and welcome from Ontario. As you have questions, be sure to ask, someone here either has the answer or knows where to find it.

Welcome from Tennessee. Good luck on the heirloom. You have a vast wealth of knowledge to pull from on this board. Everyone is so willing to help and so very helpful. I enjoy it and hope you will as well.
