Greetings from Bedford, OH
Today we are buried under a lot of snow. But the rest of the year it is very beautiful In my part of the country. My name is Linda and I'm a born and raised Buckeye. I spent 12 years in Scottsdale, AZ because the winters here are too hard on my respiratory system. But I'm home again after a severe auto accident and needing the medical care that Cleveland has to offer. I was going back to AZ for the winters, but this year the doctor wouldn't let me travel.
I've been quilting since the early 1970s, when I watched Georgia Bonesteel, Nancy Ziemann, and Sue Hausmann on PBS. My first 2 quilts were Dresden plates. I don't start with anything easy. Now I love doing scrappy quilts. When I go to retreats, I set out a bag with a large sign "All scraps here, please". Recently I've started designing a few quilts. The designs usually just happen. A majority of my quilts go to charities for children or to my 7 grandchildren.

Hi Linda, saying hello from Georgia. I am so sorry with all you have and still having to struggle through.I'm sending thoughts/prayers along with the hello. Dresden Plates for your first 2 quilts?wow, you jumped in for sure! However, that same determination is now your key to overcome all these battles with your health, isn't it? I understand that myself. I look forward to seeing some of your quilts displayed in the picture section. Welcome again.
