Hi... a few months ago I saw a "free" pattern on a website. It was made from Christmas fabric 10" layer cake squares.. each square was cut in half, resewn with a 2 1/2" strip between the 2 halves, then cut in half again in the other direction with another 2 1/2" strip between the 2 halves to look like a wrapped gift. I went back later to print it and the website had changed to a different freebie. Did anyone here see this pattern? My question is this: Was there a bow on the block? Please help if you can.

Hello, and welcome from Idaho. I don't have this pattern, but did you check the Moda site?

Look under Christmas Packages in the Moda Bakeshop. Think that may be it. It does not have a bow on the package. Hope this helps.

It's the 10 minute block I'll see if I can find the link.

They are so easy! But after rereading your intro, maybe this is not the one you are looking for. But this one is really easy.
