Greetings from Oregon
#1
Hello all! I live in eastern Oregon, transplanted just a year ago from Bend (the high desert). My folks live here, and are needing assistance now. When I was packing to move, my dad did most of the vehicle loading. At one point he told me to go get him some more of my rags to fill in some gaps. My jaw dropped to my neck and I looked at him and said "Rags?" Naturally he was talking about my fabric stash. lol, he just don't understand.
Almost forgot. My name is Tonnie (like Connie or Bonnie). The picture is of the Queen of the roost, little BU BU. She's such a good little helper. Always putting in her 2 cents worth along with two paws if she can get away with it.

Thank you everybody for the warm welcome! Not even my kids write as much. Yes, the picture was slow loading; wasn't sure I did it at all. Had to take a break from stippling a wall hanging. The monofillament kept breaking. Realized it was old (wooden spools). It was given to me after a friends Granny passed away. No telling exactly just how old it really is. Also checked the needle and threading. So it has to be the mono. I'm determined to get this project done tonight (paper-piecing), so I can get a head start on my March UFO. (I should make that plural)
