Hello ladies -- I am Kathy Sellers, I live in San Antonio, my husband and I have been married 32 years and have 3 wonderful children. I have been following this site for several weeks and love your enthusiastic, loving encouragement. I am a brand new newbie. I have been repairing a quilt of my great grandmothers, replacing black borders that had rotted. Lately I have been collecting a stash of fabric, preparing to jump in and start working. However, I find myself spending way too much time on this website trying to get ideas. I have sewn for years (loved making my children little smocked outfits), so I feel I can do just about anything! That will probably be my downfall. Looking forward to the friendships and encouragement to come.

Hi Kathy and welcome to the site from Southern California! Yes, many of us feel we spend too much time on this site, but isn't it fun? With your enthusiasm and general sewing experience, I bet you will be turning out some stunning quilts!! If you get stuck, people here will always be willing to help out!

Welcome to the board from Southern California!!!!
This is a wonderful board. However you are correct in saying that it is easy to spend way too much time here. I could have sewn dozens of quilts if I did not come on here everyday. But then again, I would have a whole lot less inspiration and quilting friends!!
