Welcome from Ontario, Canada. There are lots of knowledgeable people here on QB. Just post any questions you have and usually someone will be able to help.

Welcome from Southern California! Your new machine sounds great. I have a Viking Topaz and didn't realize the learning curve with the embroidery - I would understand when I was taking the training and then would get home.

Not too sure how new you are to embroidery but when I got my machine I knew nothing and a friend of mine worked with me so we could both learn. One shop had a huge selection of thread so I bought a couple of large already planned selections of thread instead of trying to buy them separately, and a variety of stablizers too.

Hi Peg..and welcome. I just joined today as well. I won't be of much help with the embroidery, but I surely be happy to help you with quilting.

Thanks for the warm welcome Quiltingcandy, Batil Lady and M. Elizabeth. I am new to embroidery too. I am taking my first Anita Goodesign Class next Saturday. I have a friend that has done a few quilts and she is going to help me too.
