Just to say hello!

Hi... I just got registered and started to look around. I just wanted to say Hi... I make quilts, and I scrapbook, I don't know how many quilts I have made, I do have pictures of most of them though. I like simple patterns or strip piecing. I guess because that is how I learned to quilt. I'm self taught. LOL.

Anyway... it's late here 1:45am... let me guess, many of you are still up cutting or piecing? LOL. So I will go now and stop back tomorrow to peek around some more.

I live in Missouri, I have 7 kids, 8 grandkids, my husband just retired from the Navy. He was in 26 1/2 years. I look forward to getting to know any or all of you. I'm EXCITED to find this site! Peace!

Grandma and quilter of children quilts mostly. Need to get to work on a few table toppers - but rarely buy adult fabrics ! Trying to work though my stash. It has mulitplied while i have not looked. Promised to get through this tub before buying anything else.. unless I need: backing fabric, basic color fabric, fun fabric, awesome fabric, fabulous fabric.. did I mention I like fabric ! cute fabric?? and we finally have a girl ! So, If I need girl fabric.
