Default Hello from boyceville wi, where mother nature has forgotten to give us spring!!

I am addicted to quilting, love , love, love it. I have two featherweight machines and one stinky singer 9960 quantum that I wish I had never bought ....my kids are grown, I have 12 grandbabies, 2 horses, three dogs, two cats and I am working towards not working... My husband of 36 years said I need to buy a machine that doesn't make me miserable so I am looking to buy a good used Janome 6600 quilters dream. I have heard they are good machines! Any input appreciated!!

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. I am a Bernina girl but there are many excellent machines in many different brands. Hopefully a Janome 6600 owner will give you some advice.

Welcome from NW Indiana! I've got several machines (including a new-to-me featherweight!) and a Kenmore/Janome from a few years ago...it's lower end than what you're considering. Currently, it's awaiting a tune up since it's been skipping stitches.

Luckily, we're having some serious spring weather and I'm too busy gardening to worry about my main machine for now. Best of luck with your quilter's dream. =)

Howdy & Welcome from the Texas hill country.

With all those grandchildren and critters, I'm amazed you have time to quilt AND garden.

Hello I too live in Wisconsin.... not sure how fare from you - will have to look on the map. I just wanted to say welcome to the board and I have a Janome 6000 and just love it.... I would buy another Janome if I needed a machine.
