I'm Dr/ Cathy Sparks, quilting since 2000. It therapy for me. I have 3 special needs grandkids, one lives with me & has autism. The other 2 have speech problems to some degree. I have degrees in holistic & natural health, but I'm not in a practice. I have too much going on otherwise. Someone in my embroidery club mentioned this board at a recent meeting so I thought I'd check it out. I hope to enjoy being a member. I also paint & like to design my own quilts.

Welcome from Missouri. I love all crafts, too, but have given up on those that require a good set of eyes, since I see with just one.
It makes me more cautious in traffic, less prone to drive in new areas, find myself makiing apologies in stores when I am hit from the left side, and less likely to drive at night.
