Hello all,
I'm new to the board and am so excited to have found an actual quilting site! I don't have any sewing/quilting friends so this seems like it will be a lot of fun and a great source of info.
I have been teaching myself to sew for a couple of years now, and had to take a break for almost a year as I was put on bedrest while pregnant with my son. When he was about 6 months old I decided to make a "real" quilt, and the process was so fun and therapeutic after a tough year. Now quilting and some crafty sewing are my creative outlets, and I love making stuff for my husband and 13-month-old son and our house. I'm sure I'm doing all the techniques wrong but the boys (hubby, son, 2 cats, and dog - all my boys) seem to love everything i make for them. Can't wait to learn!
