Default Been away for a while!

After a 2 1/2 year hiatus... I'm back! I went back to college to get my bachelors degree and I will graduate in 3 weeks. Since I went back to school, all my spare time was spent studying. Also about the time I went back to school, my daughter graduated college and moved home for a while. Her room was where my sewing stuff is. She now has her "big girl job" and has moved 9 hours away. I have my room back and I am so anxious to get back to sewing and quilting.

Thanks everyone! And Teacup, I do have a couple of projects lined up. As a matter of fact, I even ordered a new embroidery machine yesterday. Nothing fancy. A Brother 500PE. I had a gotten a Singer Futura 500XL last year at Christmas but had trouble with using it and no support at the LQS. I really didn't have time to play either so I sent it back. I just wanted something simple and I know I will probably get tired of the 4x4 size soon but it will be good to start. If I don't like it, I can give it to my non-sewing daughter and she can monogram all of her own things.
