    I'm a new quilter.

I own a babylock quilter's choice which may have been a bad choice.

I am considering a long arm machine. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions about brands? Any input would be most appreciated.

My cat sleeps on my quilts, too. I gave my first quilt to him because I thought he loved it. Turns out he loves all of them. Smart little guy.

Kentucky is a great place. My parents lived there for a time, and I have cousins there.

I think I want a sitdown model because I don't have room for a frame.

I wonder if the sitdown models can later be used with frames, though.

I've looked at so many websites for long arms. I still haven't found a side by side comparison site, though.

Hi! I used to live in Highland Falls/Ft. Montgomery halfway between West Point and Bear Mt. and worked at USMA West Point Officers Club. I miss being on the Hudson River very much. I moved to GA almost 8 years ago and have to say that I don't miss the snow or the high taxes but I'll always be a New Yorker at heart. Welcome! You'll love it here...lots of really nice people and a wealth of quilting info at your fingertips.
