I would like for some one to help me, I want to cut a diamond shape 30 inches long from point to point. And 14 inches across at widest point how can I drawn a pattern for this Lemoyne Star. ( a sad quilt ) THANK YOU

Hello and welcome aboard from Germany.
You might want to try it with a template made from cardboard, a triangle of 15" at both long sides and 14 " at the short side. After having marked the first half, you just switch it and mark the other half of your diamond shape. This way, it is at least easier to handle.
