Hello Everyone!
I have been trolling around the internet reading quilting blogs and finally joined this one. I'm new here and based on what I've been reading think I can learn a lot from you all.
I've been quilting for about 7 years and still consider myself somewhat of a beginner... say maybe an experienced beginner. I like to challenge myself with quilt blocks and patterns that I have never tried before. Not all my points line up on my stars and I don't own a fancy long arm quilting machine.. heck.. before I took over the dining room addition in my house for quilting I was sewing on a 36 inch round kitchen table... whatever it takes : ). Someone once asked me how well I quilt and I said.. "ehhh good enough I guess" and she replied, "Well... would your work look good from a galloping horse 20 feet away?"... and ya know... it probably would.. ha ha ha!!
I've also begun to author a blog where I discuss my current projects and just general musings...
http://www.bitchinandstitchin.blogspot.com/
I look forward to growing my skills and enjoying the discussions here and perhaps making some friends at the same time.
