Hello from Iowa!

I just joined this morning, but have been reading for a few weeks. I've been quilting for about 10 years and have a newly acquired Baby Lock Jewel that I'm trying to overcome a fear of

I'm a 46 year old mother of one and Grandmother of the cutest little guy in the world, and I look forward to learning from you all. Thanks for being here!

I quilt every Wednesday at a quilt shop Open Sew with a couple of Baby Lock enthusiasts. One of them a relatively new quilter - she just dove in.

Hi Laura from central illinois. Going to be at the Iowa quilt show in october. If you are going perhaps we can meet. I am bringing my sister in law as she is also new to quilting and has only been to one quilt show. Hope you can make it to the show, it is awww inspiring. I have already met up with someone from Kentucky and Indiana and hope to meet more people as my life goes on. You'll really love all the info. Happy quilting.
