I'm a retired Science teacher. I remember my grandmother quilting in the parlor. I need help in making a simple but wonderful baby quilt for my first grandchild - little girl due on Thanksgiving Day!

Hi and welcome from the sunny state of Florida!!
Just do a simple four-patch with another block the size of finished 4-patch and alternate. This is the pattern of the Downy quilts and is very easy but also very nice. Go to top of page to Search & put in Downy quilt pics and you can see how nice they are.
