    Default Hello from Kentucky!!

I have made my first quilt a couple of months ago. It is a very small throw for my soon to be 4 year old girl. I was given a Brother machine by my sister who is very creative. She had upgraded and gave me her old machine to get started. I am now ready to upgrade to a new sewing machine. What is a good forum or blog to look under or list my question of different machines and if someone has one and recommends it? Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to many quilting experiences.

You will want to keep your old one for a back-up. I don't have any info on a new one. Mine are old. They are easy to keep sewing. Someone will be along to help you, I'm sure.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. it will help if you post a price range. I LOVE my Bernina 440 but it was $3000 and no longer produced. There are lots of good brands, it all depends on ow much you want o spend. It also helps to make a list of must haves before you go shopping.

I personally love my Janome and some of the machines are very economical, and I have heard that the Brother is pretty gooddd
. Try some out, and try to find a place that services it and will help you learn how to use it properly,
